My name is Raimundo Ramírez, and I’m based in Blanes, about 60 km from Barcelona. I’m a tattoo artist and the owner of La Tarara Tattoo — a studio where tradition meets a modern understanding of tattooing as an evolving art form.
My passion for tattooing goes beyond technique. I’m deeply interested in its culture, history, and symbolism. I see tattooing as a form of art that not only decorates the skin but should flow with the body, complement its shape, and be truly made for the person wearing it.
My style can be defined as blackwork. I create large-scale designs that integrate with the body’s anatomy, using bold black ink and drawing inspiration from tribal, Japanese, and ornamental art across various cultures. Many of my pieces play with geometric elements and intentionally crafted proportions.
My goal is always the same: to enhance and celebrate each body through tattooing. I’m open to fresh ideas, new concepts, and creative collaborations that continue to push the boundaries of this craft.
